Up for review today is our second Lumibricks set, the Future Bus (set 17003, also sold under the Funwhole name as F9060). This set is part of the Lumibricks Cyberpunk Neoncity theme.
As usual, the box and instructions are very high quality.

What you get in the box
The Future Bus is a mid-size Cyberpunk Neoncity build that punches above its piece count thanks to the lighting and the clever transforming gimmick. It first released under the Funwhole name on April 17, 2025, uses GoBricks parts, and like the rest of the line it's decorated with printed elements rather than stickers.

The build
This was a fun build. It's a clever design, and as always, it comes with lights. Our favorite part of this build is the front of the bus with the lights, and the clear windshields. Also, being in the Cyberpunk future, the turbines on the side swing up so the bus can fly through the air. And we always love how Lumibricks hides the battery compartments in each build — here the energy hatch at the rear pops off so you can get at the battery box without tearing anything apart.
That transforming trick is the headline feature: the Future Bus has a dual-mode design with roughly 15 movable points. In ground mode it rolls on six wheels; flip the four turbines up and slide the panels around and it becomes a hovering sci-fi cruiser. The sliding doors and opening windows add to the play value, even though most people will buy this as a display piece.

The lights
As with every Lumibricks set, the LEDs are built in as you go rather than added afterward, so there's no retrofitting an aftermarket kit later. The Future Bus has five light-emitting positions in vivid neon tones that pop against the dark bodywork — the glowing front end is the standout. Power runs off a USB-C cable or the concealed battery box, all on a single switch. It's the whole reason to buy a Lumibricks set over a comparable LEGO vehicle: you get the neon glow from the moment you finish, no wiring projects required.
Is the Lumibricks Future Bus worth it?
We say get this one if you're looking for a low-cost entry into the Lumibricks ecosystem or love the Cyberpunk theme. At around $40 for 605 pieces, two minifigures, a transforming body, and built-in lighting, it's strong value — and a great companion piece to the rest of the Neoncity lineup.
