CaDA’s C4 Supercar is the kind of set that makes you double-check the price tag. Thousands of pieces, a coherent gearbox and suspension narrative, and paneling that actually holds tension — it feels like a serious build, not a knockoff novelty act.
Build experience
Substeps are logical and the bags are grouped well enough that you’re rarely hunting across the table. The tolerances are slightly firmer than LEGO — plan on a bit more thumb pressure — but we didn’t encounter meaningful clutch failures.
Pros
- Dense mechanical layout with satisfying gear/suspension payoffs
- Outstanding pieces-per-dollar versus flagship LEGO supercars
- Strong exterior surfacing; looks sharp on display
Cons
- Instruction clarity lags LEGO in a few dense gearbox spreads
- Sticker reliance if you want the full hypercar livery
Verdict
If you want flagship supercar energy without flagship invoice pain, this is one of the best third-party Technic-style options we’ve built this year. Watch the gearbox sections twice, keep tweezers nearby for a few tight pins, and you’ll end up with a shelf piece that earns its spot.
